Donated money is spent on new equipment, facilities to make treatment more comfortable for both patients and carers and research into methods of managing and monitoring leukaemia and related blood diseases carried out at the hospital.

How to help us

The money we receive is raised in a variety of ways

Through fundraising events – such as the ELF Challenge Walks held on Woodbury Common, the ELF Arctic Challenge where participants raise £2,500 to “survive” in temperatures as low as -25°C in Northern Sweden and the ELF Charity Ball held at Bicton Park.

Supporter groups that operate throughout the region also hold their own organised events and are vital for ELF’s fundraising.

We also rely on local organisations and companies to support ELF either by getting involved with ELF’s events or organising their own.
