The group expresses warmest thanks to Issy Maunder as she relinquishes her position as Friends of Yarty secretary. We appreciate the work she has done during the past five years and are so glad that she will continue to support the group in their various activities.
Ray and Pat Vigor continue to work hard for the cause, Ray donating £115 received for building work he as done for friends while Pat, with Ann Cheetham made £187 at Budleigh Salterton’s Flea Market, the first time Friends of Yarty has participated in this weekly event.
Jean and Christine Lee have been busy making exquisite greetings cards and knitting fashionable scarves which have been in great demand and have made £150 for Friends of Yarty already.
We are grateful to these and all supporters who have contributed in so many ways - by making donations, growing plants, running marathons, organising raffles, giving lectures, readings or concerts - enabling us to pass £7,000 to ELF in this financial year. We are specially grateful to Joan Barraclough for all the time she gives to keeping our accounts so meticulously.
