Donated money is spent on new equipment, facilities to make treatment more comfortable for both patients and carers and research into methods of managing and monitoring leukaemia and related blood diseases carried out at the hospital.

Fundraising Snippets

handshakeTedburn St Mary Lawn Tennis Club raised £77.50 by holding a Family Tennis Tournament, thanks to all concerned.

Exmouth Junior Football Club raised the magniÄ-cent sum of £1,112.64 which was presented to Peter Wallace, Fundraising OfÄcer in September.

Thanks to the Clinical Chemistry Lab who organised a sponsored climb to the top of Mount Snowdon.Ten team members braved some very wet weather to raise over £700 for ELF.

The Prewley Arms, Sourton Down, Okehampton raised £420, thanks to all their staff and customers.

A Clay Pigeon Shoot took place in August, organised by Graham Lapthorn of Newnham Park Shooting Ground raised a marvellous £400.

Thanks to Mole Valley Farmers, Cullompton for raising £272.54 by displaying 4 collecting boxes on their premises.

Sainsburys collection on 11 and 12 November raised £732.17. Thank you to all the helpers.
