Gill Wallace resigned as Office Manager for Exeter Leukaemia Fund in July. ELF is fortunate that Maggi Andrews (pictured) has joined in her role. The Trustees had a leaving do at the Devon Hotel for Gill and she was presented with a Darlington glass vase and flowers by Di Passey, Chair of Trustees, who thanked Gill for all her hard work.
Maggi lived in Rockbeare and Starcross until the age of 22 when she got married and moved to London and had 2 sons who are now 20 & 22. “I worked in London for a Community Foundation where as well as many other administration duties, helped in the recording and distribution of funds to a wide range of people, organisations, schools etc. These funds were raised through government, businesses and local events. So when in 2004 I returned to live in Exeter, I wanted to find a similar role as I really enjoy the work”.
You can contact Maggi at the ELF office if ever you have any questions. (01392 493344).
