Donated money is spent on new equipment, facilities to make treatment more comfortable for both patients and carers and research into methods of managing and monitoring leukaemia and related blood diseases carried out at the hospital.
Do you have an old film camera that you haven’t used for ages? Why not donate it to ELF, so that we can sell it on the internet auction site, ebay? We have a volunteer who can check it over and describe it accurately, so that it will sell for the best possible price.
Although nearly all photographers have ‘gone digital’, there’s still a market for good quality film cameras, lenses and accessories. An SLR camera in good condition will typically fetch £20 - £50.
We’ll let you know when your equipment goes on ebay, so you’ll be able to follow the auction and raise money for a good cause!
