Donated money is spent on new equipment, facilities to make treatment more comfortable for both patients and carers and research into methods of managing and monitoring leukaemia and related blood diseases carried out at the hospital.

In conjunction with Leukaemia Care, ELF is arranging a Patient Conference at the Peter Chalk Centre, University of Exeter, on Saturday 10th May 2008. Covering many aspects from the initial diagnosis through treatment to ‘after effects’ and advice on how to get the best from your Doctor it is the Conference with a difference for Patients, Carers and Relatives.
